What causes cellulite has become a global concern for centuries. Women are especially worried about what causes cellulite simply because they want to know why they are affected by cellulite. Based on scientific research, cellulite can't be associated with a single cause as there are many factors that can influence its accumulation. When observed closely, cellulite can be seen present in the form of small pockets filled with fat and it resides under the skin. When the accumulation increases, the skin will not be able to retain its normal texture and appearance. As a result, bumps and dimples on the skin are likely to occur. Cellulite's favorite areas are the thighs, buttocks, behind the neck, hips and stomach.
